Manufacturing picks up, INDEX adds more vehicles
After what was an obviously very rough 2009 in manufacturing, automotive (or industrial-anything, really) the new year is proving to be a relief and a rush. Plants that went right off the radar for 3, 6, 12 months are not only back, they’re in overdrive. For INDEX, this has meant working with some of our favourite clients several times a day. For others, we’re literally shipping parts every 2 hours around the clock to help them keep up with their clients’ demand. Kitchener manufacturing going green
With Kitchener manufacturing plants going green (check out the Verigreen website if you aren’t sold on the idea just yet), Google and RIM taking over Waterloo with technology that has changed the way millions of people connect, search and communicate, it only makes sense that a company like Canadian Solar Inc. should set up shop here in Kitchener or surrounding area. Canadian Solar Inc. is proposing to open a plant that produces the solar panels. And it’s not looking to be a small project, either.
