With Kitchener manufacturing plants going green (check out the Verigreen website if you aren’t sold on the idea just yet), Google and RIM taking over Waterloo with technology that has changed the way millions of people connect, search and communicate, it only makes sense that a company like Canadian Solar Inc. should set up shop here in Kitchener or surrounding area. Canadian Solar Inc. is proposing to open a plant that produces the  solar panels. And it’s not looking to be a small project, either. According to The London Free Press on December 4, 2009, the proposed project expects to be “one of the largest solar panel manufacturing sites in North America.” Looks like the tech triangle is turning green!
